If you get a good opportunity, grab it instead of waiting for an even better opportunity.

 

This may not apply to all situations in life.

 

Use your judgement in each situation.

Failures do not define us.

 

What defines us is what we are and what we value.  and how we choose to live our life.

 

Trying our best is what we can do. If we fail, we should try again.

 

In the Shrimada Bhagvada Gita, Lord Krishna explains to Prince Arjuna the theory of Karma.

 

“Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhur Ma Te Sango Stv Akarmani”.

 

He said ,”Believe in yourself and do your Karma (action) and success will follow you automatically. Only the act of doing Karma is in our hands; results are not in our hands.”

 

Have courage.

 

As I said above, our road in life may be bumpy with some failures in it.

Have the courage to acknowledge self-limitations and try to be flexible and try to work on improving them to overcome some of the avoidable hurdles and thus be more productive in life.

Simple acts like buying enough for us and family and not going overboard with storing daily need items is important.

 

It makes the necessary items available for others as well.

 

Other simple but most important thing to do is to follow social distancing and hand washing rules each and every time to prevent the transmission of germs to one another.

 

Conserve the natural resources.

 

Avoid wasting water, fuel, gas and other nonrenewable sources of energy.

Carpooling may not be an option currently with social distancing and isolation, but we can limit usage on these resources.

 

Be aware and informed of correct information. Remain updated with latest information and recommendations from the national recognized government websites.

 

Be aware of CDC and WHO guidelines of proper hand washing and social distancing and other authentic verified information to decrease the chain of infection transmission.

 

Refrain from forwarding unreliable or unverified information to others which actually prove harmful rather than anything else.
